She baked every night for months, till the wee hours of morning and the house woke up to the smell of freshly baked cookies. She persevered till she achieved perfection. Every cookie was just how she had wanted. Through each crunch, crackle, flavor and sweetness, she expressed love. Science blended seamlessly with art making each batch of cookie perfect. It was when she noticed her kids munching on cookies loaded with preservatives, palm oil, sugar and refined flour. She knew she would have to do something. She carefully discarded these ingredients. Started from scratch replacing each one with a healthier option. Maida was replaced by Wheat, Oats, Ragi and so on, Oil with premium quality butter and Ghee, Refined Sugar with the best quality Jaggery. The jaggery that 2Footya Mom Baked uses comes from a unit located on the foothills of the Himalayas. Their jaggery is made with no additives or preservatives. Provides income to a few farmer families and many labours.
